  • Primer. Before applying varnish, the floor is covered with a primer. It removes small chips and cracks, so that the varnish is applied evenly. The primer treatment protects the tree from bacteria and fungus. Soil should be selected based on the type of varnish used: for a varnish coating based on solvent or polyurethane, a similar soil structure is suitable.   1. Make sure the floor is level and free of contamination. In advance, worry about airing the room, because some paints can contain harmful components.

  3. Make sure that droplets of paint do not fall onto a surface that is not painted. If the coloring matter gets on pristine boards, wipe it off with a clean, damp cloth.
  4. When spreading varnish, instead of paint, recommends the application of several layers of varnish. Each subsequent layer is applied perpendicular to the previous one.
  5. It is important to wait 3 days until the previous row is completely dry. So you can avoid breaking already created layers of varnish and achieve a more saturated and deep shade.
